Meet Dr.Aneesha Sharma
Dr. Aneesha Sharma is a Bay Area native who relocated to Santa Monica with her husband in 2023. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, completing the accelerated pre-dental program in just three years with honors. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and has been practicing since 2015.
After three years in general dentistry, Dr. Aneesha shifted her focus to preventative care, emphasizing oral hygiene and patient education. She is passionate about helping patients understand their unique oral health needs and guiding them in preventing dental diseases. As your hygiene doctor, she works closely with Dr. Ellie and the rest of the team to ensure you have a strong foundation of healthy gums and bone to support your smile. Her goal is to empower patients to take control of their health, developing habits that promote not only a healthy mouth but overall well-being.
Dr. Aneesha shares Dr. Ellie’s philosophy of conservative dentistry—addressing concerns early to prevent discomfort and avoid more complex, costly treatments down the road.
Outside the office, Dr. Aneesha enjoys unwinding with a good book and experimenting with the latest viral TikTok recipes. She is thrilled to be part of the Santa Monica Dental Office team and looks forward to helping you achieve your oral health goals!
